What is CAMplan?

We’re a multi-disciplinary planning and design consultancy based in Nottingham.

We were formed in 2009 by Mark Strawbridge with the aim of providing bespoke planning, heritage, design, environmental and landscape consultancy and advice to individual clients/householders, commercial clients, developers, community and interest groups and National and Local authority departments.


Mark Strawbridge is an approachable chartered town planner, heritage professional and landscape architect with over 30 years’ impressive experience in the field, having worked directly for local authorities prior to setting up the Camplan consultancy: this invaluable insight means he knows from the inside exactly what the local authorities are looking for when he prepares and submits your planning application, design, etc.

Who are we?

I am a heritage professional and chartered town planner with over 30 years’ experience of heritage planning and the production of heritage and other statements to accompany applications for Listed Building Consent, and Planning Permission. I am a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, a founder member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation, an Affiliate of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists and a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts.
